Points To Note ON YOUR RIGHT TO FREEDOM OF MOVEMENT

1) The Constitution guarantees every citizen freedom of movement from one point to another.

2) You are entitled to live and settle down in any part of the country notwithstanding that such place is not your place of birth.

3) No one can prevent you from travelling in or out of the country.

4) No person is allowed to restrict your movement or prevent you from moving to any place you so desire.

5) Law on wandering has been abolished, hence no policeman is allowed to arrest or threaten any individual on this.

6) Please note that there are limitations on freedom of movement under the Constitution for the sake of security, public order, public safety, etc.
